2 branch libraries
civic | adaptive reuse
Repurposing idle retail space, two branch libraries for the City of Boise revitalize their respective neighborhood strip malls with civic programming. Both projects deploy a radial plan, allowing for maximum visibility as well as comfortable lounging and study. An array of skylights, in concert with an automated daylight harvesting system, provides natural light throughout.
