A transformative renovation of a disused property, the Modern Hotel quickly became a star of Boise culture. From Northwest cuisine, to curated films, to rotating art installations, the Modern is smart, approachable, international, and somehow still, precisely Idahoan.
MATERIALS
Outside: a treed courtyard with sandstone fire pits and botanical screen-walls.
Inside: walnut, glass tile, and luxurious textiles.
