cottonwoods

public art

The Cottonwoods artwork defines the principal gathering place at Boise City Hall Plaza. Composed of folded weathering steel plate cut through with mapped canopy patterns, the 24-foot tall sculptures propose ecology, place, and memory as crucial elements of political space.
