cottonwoods

public art

The Cottonwoods artwork defines the principal gathering place at Boise City Hall Plaza. Composed of folded weathering steel plate cut through with mapped canopy patterns of the indigenous Cottonwood, the 24-foot tall sculptures propose ecology, place, and memory as crucial elements of political space.
