house for a professor of English Literature
residential
This solar courtyard house is built with composite wood materials; floors of oriented strand board, plywood built-ins and cabinetry, and exposed laminated structural details exemplify the approach. Intimate windows provide counterpoints to the expansive courtyard glazing, using corners and projected bays to frame sun- and moon-rises and window-seats for reading.
