The Cottonwoods artwork structures the principal outdoor gathering place at Boise City Hall Plaza. Composed of folded weathering steel plate cut through with canopy patterns of the indigenous Cottonwood, the 24-foot tall sculptures propose place, ecology, and memory as crucial elements of public, political space.
